Meet the Speakers



Conference Opening Keynote

Hill Harper, J.D., is a humanitarian, award-winning actor, best-selling author, and entrepreneur. Harper starred in the television drama “The Good Doctor” as well as other projects including “CSI: NY,” “He Got Game,” and “Lackawanna Blues.” Harper has served as the national spokesperson for several leading social justice organizations, and he has been recognized with seven NAACP Image Awards for his writing and acting. Harper also established the Manifest Your Destiny Foundation and The Pierce and Hill Harper Arts Foundation.



Academic Diversity Officer Track Keynote

Eric M. Wilcots, Ph.D., is the dean of the College of Letters & Science and the Mary C. Jacoby Professor of Astronomy in the Department of Astronomy, his home department since 1995, at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He also served as interim provost and vice chancellor for academic affairs for UW–Madison from April through July of 2023. Prior to becoming dean, he served as deputy dean of the college and associate dean for research, as well as associate dean for natural sciences.



Health Equity Track Keynote

Victoria Lee, M.D., MBA, MPH, is an executive leader with over 25 years of experience driving social change and delivering global impact. Her career reflects commitment to advancing equity and fostering collaboration across sectors to improve health and well-being for people around the world.

As the chief executive officer and president of Fraser Health Authority — one of Canada's largest health service systems — she oversees the strategic direction and operations of integrated health services for a diverse population of over 2 million people.



Conference Closing Keynote

Stephanie Ramos is a correspondent for ABC News based in New York City. She has been front and center on major news stories, covering everything from the White House, the COVID pandemic, the contentious Alabama Senate race, the tragic Parkland shooting, Hurricane Irma, the 2016 election, and the Charlottesville protests. She reports across all ABC News platforms including “Good Morning America,” “World News Tonight,” ABC News Live, “Nightline,” and “20/20.”
